EDUCATION
Mr. Gibson is a Senior Engineer at Maxim Engineering, Inc. where he supervises surveying projects, analyses and evaluates mineral properties, prepares ventilation, roof control and blasting plans, and performs design and layout including design of drainage structures and earthwork. Mr. Gibson served as engineer at Branham and Baker Coal Company in Prestonsburg, Kentucky from 1982 where he prepared permits under the Kentucky Permanent Program for surface and underground mines and preparation plants. Mr. Gibson served as Chief Engineer at Virginia Iron, Coal and Coke Company in Coeburn, Virginia from 1978 to 1982. Here he supervised a large engineering staff and was responsible for permitting VICC's operations under Virginia's Interim and Permanent Programs. Prior to this engagement, Mr. Gibson served as Staff or Chief Engineer at several companies in Kentucky and West Virginia including Lizann Mining Corporation, Beth-Elkhorn Corporation, Kentucky Carbon Corporation, Eastern Coal Corporation, and United States Steel Corporation. |
