Currently serves as the Survey Party Chief, Systems Administrator, engineering and survey technician at Maxim Engineering, Inc. He joined the staff in May, 1988. His duties include conducting route surveys, ground control surveys, topographical surveys, as- built surveys, construction stake-out and property surveys. He is skilled using GPS and total station surveying equipment, CAD software and is proficient in project organization and mapping using Autodesk Civil 3D and Land software. Using WaterCad and SewerCad software he is able to construct water and sewer models which aid Maxim’s engineering staff in the design and approval of these systems. He is also responsible for the installation and maintenance of all software and computer systems. Employed by Jericol Mining, Holmes Mill, Kentucky as a survey technician-draftsman from 1986 to 1988. His duties included surveying property boundaries, strip mining advancement and underground mines. Related mapping and calculations were also included in his duties. Employed by Clinchfield Coal Company as a surveyor from 1981 to 1986. His duties included surface and underground surveying. |
